DAY 1: MOMELA GATE -MIRIAKAMBA HUTS: 13.8KM/ 8.6 M

Arusha to Momella Gate
Following breakfast, the departure from Arusha to Momella gate is scheduled for approximately 8:30 a.m. The journey entails a scenic drive to Momella gate, where the necessary payment will be made. Subsequently, the climb to the first hut known as Miriakamba hut commences, accompanied by a picnic lunch. The evening will be spent at the Miriakamba hut, offering dinner and overnight accommodations for a duration of 3 ½ hours
DAY 2: MIRIAKAMBA HUTS – SADDLE HUTS: 6.1KM/ 3.8MI | 2.5 HRS
Elevation: 2503m/8212ft to 3560m/11,680ft
Altitude gained: 1057m
After having breakfast, we continue our journey by ascending towards the second hut known as Saddle. This section is considerably steeper compared to the initial part (2 ½ rating). In the afternoon, clients have the option to conquer the little Meru peak and return. Following this adventure, we gather for dinner and spend the night at the Saddle hut.

Wake up at middle-night and have a cup of tea before starting attempt big Meru peak. Proceed to summit crossing rocky path and back to Saddle hut for full breakfast. The day will be spent resting. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Saddle hut.

Altitude lost:1963m
Leave Saddle hut and descend down to Momella gate via first hut (Miriakamba) where you will be transferred to Arusha/Moshi.
Overnight New Arusha Hotel 4 stars B&B. before being transferred to your journey home, safari or relaxing trip to Zanzibar.
