0700hrs: On this day the guests will have breakfast at the camp and then depart for Northern Serengeti National park in search for a migration in Kogatende area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in this area. The key feature is the Mara River and there is a great chance to see the herds cross the Mara River to the north on one day and back south a few days later. Please note that it can be very difficult to witness crossing and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to river and only decide to cross a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation and open plains, similar to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot without forgetting a large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. Later in the evening return at the hotel for rest, dinner and overnight.

0800hrs: On this day the guests will have breakfast at the lodge and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park.
Lake Manyara National Park is a Biosphere reserve while the scenic beauty of this park certainly makes it worth a visit, the game viewing here pales into insignificance when compared with that on offer in Tarangire, the Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. Famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, breath-taking scenery and the soda-ash lake in the centre, Manyara merits a day trip at the base of the Great Rift Valley.
