0900hrs: On this day after breakfast at the lodge, the guests will proceed for a cultural tour and coffee tour in Materuni Village. Materuni is the home of the Chagga tribe and is still an authentic tribal village. You will visit the bigest waterfall of the Kilimanjaro Mountain enjoying the scenery while receiving some information about the locals then you will have a coffee tour, experieice traditional Chagga brew and have a local hot lunch. After lunch in the afternoon you will proceed the base of Mt Kilimanjaro at Machame gate and recieve some information and photos (not climbing anywhere). Later in the evening return at the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.

0700hrs: After breakfast at the lodge the guests will take picnic lunches and proceed to Arusha National Park. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie “Hatari” in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne.
Your trip will include a game drive in the park and Canoeing in the Momela Lakes in the afternoon after lunch. Rare black and white Colobus Monkeys, Elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. Later in the evening proceed to Arusha Town for rest dinner and overnight. 0800hrs: Breakfast at the lodge and then with picnic lunches depart for Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park depending on the season of the year. Getting an opportunity to visit various places along Tarangire river and explore a number of different wildlife species available in the park without forgetting the largest population of Elephants in the Park. Lake Manyara National Park is a biosphere reserve and famous for tree climbing lions without forgetting a paradise for birds. The middle and end of the Dry season, from June to October, is the best time for wildlife viewing in Tarangire National Park. Most of the animals migrate out of the park to Manyara park and nearby game reserves during the Wet season, and wildlife viewing is considerably less productive in Tarangire.

0700hrs: On this day the guests will have breakfast at the lodge and then proceed to central Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro highlands with picnic lunches from the hotel. On arrival in Serengeti, the guests will proceed with en route game drive to the camp for rest, dinner and overnight. Serengeti National park is magical in every sense of the word as it offers splendid views of wildlife and nature. No wonder as it is named a world heritage site by UNESCO.

0700hrs: On this day the guests will have breakfast at the camp and depart for a full day game drive within the Serengeti National Park. As an option included in the package and with pre arrangement with the camp chef, the guests may wish to arrive back at the camp early enough around 1600hrs and participate in the preparations and cooking of their own local African dinner.
In Serengeti the migratory and some resident wildebeest, which number over 1.5 million individuals, constitute the largest population of big mammals that still roam the planet. They are joined in their journey through the Serengeti Mara ecosystem by 200,000 plains zebras, 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles and Grant’s gazelle, and tens of thousands of Topi and Coke’s hartebeests. Masai giraffe, waterbuck, impala, common warthog and hippopotamus are also abundant. Some rarely seen species of antelope are also present in Serengeti National Park, such as common eland, klipspringer, roan antelope, bushbuck, lesser kudu, fringe-eared oryx and dik diks. 0700hrs: On this day the guests will have breakfast at the lodge and then proceed to Lake Eyasi to visit the bushmen community who are still surviving in small numbers in Tanzania. Home to the Hadzabe bushmen, Lake Eyasi is one of the few places remaining in Africa where tribal life is still maintained relatively untouched by the development of the region. The Hadzabe people have called Lake Eyasi home for more than 10,000 years, and still retain their hunter gatherer lifestyle; making them one of the last bastions of ancient African tribal life. A visit to the Hadzabe lands offers a unique and unforgettable glimpse into an ancient culture where guests if interested can participate in various activities such as traditional fire making, traditional dancing, bow and arrow throwing or go hunting with the bushmen. Later in the afternoon, the guests will return back to Arusha for rest, dinner and overnight.

0900hrs: On this day the guests will have breakfast at the hotel and then depart to visit the children center (https://www.canaanchildrenscenter.com/) in Arusha and if interested volunteer in various activities as done by the staffs to the children. From the children center the guests will proceed to the restauranf for local African lunch. After lunch the guests will visit the shanga project (https://www.shanga.org/) in Arusha and if interested participate in the activities of recycling wine bottle as done by the staffs at the project.
As an alternative the guests may wish to stretch muscles and involve in Bicycle riding in Arusha in the afternoon. This way the guests will ride the bicycle from the lunch spot through town to their hotel for rest, dinner and overnight. Meals and overnight at SG Resort Arusha |
